Share Your Light

Updated: Mar 18, 2020

I haven’t written a blog in quite a while. The ups and downs of everyday living sometimes take a toll on my mind and my body. I have been dealing with MS complications for a long time. Fatigue, vertigo, and loss of balance is the worst part of this disease for me. When I was younger, I could burn the candle at both ends and still replace the wax that had melted down while it was still burning. Now, sometimes I feel like I don’t even have a candle.

Light represents energy and we have been told to be very careful to conserve our energy because there is an energy crisis.

I think about the parable that our brother Jesus, said about the Ten Virgins. I know a lot of us know the story, but I had a different view on the story.

The Five Foolish Virgins represented the lazy and procrastinating innocence in mankind and The Five Wise Virgins, represented the innocent spirit of preparedness, hard work and even fear. I say fear because when the foolish virgins asked for some of the wise virgin’s oil, they said, “Not so, if we give you some of our oil, there won’t be enough for us.” The feeling of not having enough stems from fear.

What would happen if the Five Wise Virgins were really wise and thinking about their fellow virgins? A Wise Virgin would have suggested that the Five Fools pack their things and go to meet the wedding party along with them. Surely five lanterns would light the way for the Ten Virgins since they were all going the same way. If you hold a candle up high, it sheds more light.

There is enough light or resources in the Earth for all of us. We have to share our Light. We are going the same way because we all came from the same place.

We are God and we are Light. 💛💛💛
